What this website is
This site is a description of our services and an invitation to contact us. It is not a shop, it takes no payments, and nothing on it constitutes a binding offer or a contract. Prices, lead times and specifications are only ever fixed in a written quotation issued by us for your specific project.
Technical information on this site
Our service pages and guides describe standard industry practice for glass, aluminium and metal work in UAE conditions. They are written to be genuinely useful, but they are general information, not a specification for your building.
The correct specification for any given job depends on the actual opening, exposure, structure, use and the requirements of the authority having jurisdiction. That is settled at survey and confirmed in writing in our quotation. Please do not rely on a page of this website as the basis for a purchase, an instruction to another contractor, or a submission to an authority. Where a matter requires a structural engineer, a fire consultant or an authority approval, we will say so.
Quotations and work carried out
Any work we carry out is governed by the written quotation, scope and terms we issue for that project — including payment terms, programme, variations, warranty and liability. Those documents take precedence over anything on this website. If there is a conflict between a page here and your quotation, the quotation applies.
An enquiry sent through this site, by WhatsApp or by email is a request for a quotation. It does not create a contract, reserve production capacity or commit either party.
Images and project content
Where a page shows a labelled placeholder in place of a photograph, that is exactly what it is — a slot awaiting a real photograph of our own work. We do not present stock photography, illustrative renders or another company's work as our completed projects. Any project shown without a client name has been published with that detail withheld deliberately, not invented.
Intellectual property
The text, artwork, layout, logo and design of this website belong to Al Makan Alum and Glass Cont. or are used with permission. You may view, print and share pages for your own use or to discuss a project with us. You may not republish our written content or artwork commercially, or present it as your own, without our written permission.
Links to other websites
Where we link out — for example to Google Maps for directions, or to a social media profile — we are not responsible for the content or the privacy practices of those services. Their own terms apply once you leave this site.
Availability and accuracy
We aim to keep this site accurate and available, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or up to date at every moment. Product ranges, systems and supplier specifications change. We may amend or remove content at any time without notice.
Limits on liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss arising from reliance on general information published on this website, or from the website being unavailable.
